Come vi avevo accennato, durante la mia luna di miele ci ho dato che ci ho dato con lo shopping, anche per "colpa" dei numerosi outlets e sconti in cui sono incappata, oltre ai prezzi generalmente più bassi per certi marchi come MAC e NYX, senza contare quei prodotti che in Italia non si trovano proprio come Kat Von D e i Maybelline Vivids.
D'altro canto, come si può dire di no ad un 2x1 sui Butter London, o ad un Sephora Formula X scontato del 70%, od ancora ad uno Zoya a soli 2.50$, alle Converse che costano meno di un terzo rispetto all'Italia e via discorrendo? Appunto. Ecco l'inquietante carrellata dei miei acquisti.

Like I wrote in the post where I showed you the pics of the places I visited during my honeymoon, I did a lot of shopping. I had the chance to take advantage of numerous offers, sales and so on. Don't forget that, in Italy, some brands are much more expensive than in US (MAC or NYX). And, of course, I could buy some products that are not sold in Italy like Kat Von D. So, this is my huge haul!

Tra il fatto che è lunedì e il tempo da lupi che c'è stato oggi, ho proprio voglia di fare un post chiacchiereccio e di poche pretese. Per cui vi faccio vedere un'altra parte dei miei acquisti dell'ultimo periodo (qui vi avevo mostrato i miei peccati targati MAC).
Stavolta rivolgo la mia attenzione alla mia piccola collezione di Yankee Candles. Sono sempre stata una grande appassionata di candele ed olii profumati, ma solo nell'ultimo anno ho rivolto la mia attenzione al famosissimo brand americano, complice anche il fatto che sia finalmente disponibile nei negozi fisici della mia città.
Personalmente prediligo i profumi freschi e fruttati, meglio se agrumati, ma anche quelli floreali, se non sono stucchevoli, rientrano appieno nelle mie corde. Ed infatti nella mia collezione possiamo trovare:

It's Monday already, and weather has been horrible all day: rain, rain and rain and a very strong wind. I have a terrible headache, so I decided to write another undemanding and chattering post. A few days ago I showed my MAC sins, and now I'd like to talk about the Yankee Candle products I purchased in the last months.
I have always been a sucker for scented candles and oils, but only in a recent period I decided to purchase some Yankee Candles products, when they finally became available in my city.
I usually prefer fresh and fruited scents, in particular I love the smell of lemon and orange, but I also like floral candles if their scent is not too much sugary and strong.
So in my little collection you can find:

Stasera post poco impegnativo e molto chiacchiereccio. Un po' per via della stanchezza, un po' perché è una vita non faccio post haul e mi sono accorta di avere diverse cosucce da mostrarvi tanto per cianciare un po'. Iniziamo con MAC!
Negli ultimi due mesi sono riuscita a fare ben due visite a MAC, cosa che non mi capita proprio sovente visto che il punto vendita più vicino ce l'ho a 100 km. Da un anno non acquistavo più niente del brand più amato in casa Pee (non è vero, Mr. Pee lo odia, ma solo perché quando entro in negozio sprofondo in uno stato di semi-incoscienza), se si esclude un rossetto (Impassioned) che comunque avevo preso col Back2MAC, e quindi gratuitamente. Mi sembrava il caso di recuperare, ma comunque con giudizio: ed in effetti ho preso tre prodotti assolutamente indispensabili e due sfizi, ma che comunque utilizzerò abbastanza.

I'm super tired tonight and I still have to do my zumba session, so I decided to write an undemanding post. I haven't written a haul post for a very long time and I have a lot of things to show you!
I want to start with my MAC purchases. I rarely go to a MAC shop, because the nearest one is 100 km far away from my city. As a consequence, I hadn't bought anything by this brand for over a year - ordering from the Italian website is a nightmare, too many products chronically out of stock and, in any case, I prefer seeing products in person and trying them at the shop. 
Anyway, in the last two months I went twice to a MAC shop, and I bought five different items - three of them were absolutely essential and two of them were a pure whim. Let's see them!

Beh, ad essere completamente oneste questo non è esattamente un post haul, perché questi bambini mi sono arrivati come regalo da parte di mio cognato che, dopo tanti anni, è finalmente tornato in Italia a trovarci. Sono stata una ragazza fortunata, ho potuto scegliere io stessa ogni singolo smalto da far entrare in casa mia, on line e comodamente seduta sul mio divano.
Ma andiamo a vedere uno per uno i miei nuovi tesori!

Well, this is not exactly a haul, because all these babies are part of the gift that my brother-in-law made me a couple of weeks ago. 
As you probably know, he actually lives in Brazil; he came back to Italy for a few weeks for the first time after four years and he was so kind to buy a ton of beautiful nail polishes for me. If you're curious to see my picks, please continue reading!

PBP's Chronicles of Lisbon, Chapter I: SHOPPING!

Il tempo è tiranno, si sa, e io mi ritrovo a non avervi ancora detto nulla della mia vacanza a Lisbona dopo quasi un mese.
Vediamo di recuperare subito col capitolo sullo shopping!
Ringrazio tantissimo Cristina di The Clockwise Nail Polish per le fantastiche dritte che mi ha dato, grazie a lei sono riuscita ad andare a colpo sicuro nella mia nobile missione!
Inizio con gli acquisti non smaltosi: per la prima volta in vita mia sono entrata in un negozio della Claire's. Sì, so che ci sono anche in Italia, ma non dalle mie parti (ma va?!?). Ne ho approfittato per prendere la ciambella per fare lo chignon, che volevo da una vita, e quattro burro di cacao dagli insoliti gusti: Coca Cola, Coca Cola alla vaniglia (neppure sapevo che esistesse!), Fanta e Sprite. Ho preso anche tre smalti, ma ve li mostrerò dopo.
Da oBoticario ho voluto invece provare una scontatissima maschera purificante all'argilla e kiwi, vi farò sapere cosa ne penso dopo un testing più accurato.
Il negozio della Inglot del Centro Commerciale Cristoforo Colombo (in pratica una città) mi ha letteralmente stregata, ho visto un sacco di prodotti non disponibili in Italia (per lo meno dalla mia ultima visita di un paio di mesi fa al negozio Inglot di Porta Ticinese) ed è stata davvero dura trattenersi... Anche perché i prezzi sono infinitamente inferiori rispetto all'Italia! Alla fine mi sono portata a casa un fantastico pigmento duochrome, il Pure Pigment Eyeshadow #86; in pratica è il Models Own Pinkie Brown fatto ombretto. Il prezzo? 13€, che di certo non sono pochi, ma a confronto dei 18.90€ italiani è tanta roba. Ma è possibile un divario di prezzo così mostruoso tra due Paesi così vicini? E dire che il Portogallo ha anche l'IVA di due punti più alta rispetto alla nostra. Bah.
Infine, come ultimo acquisto truccoso, non ho saputo resistere ad uno splendido, pigmentatissimo ed economico ombretto della Miyo, il #34 Iris.

You know that time is a hard master, so I haven't had the chance to write a post about my holiday in Lisbon. But here I am (finally!) and let's start with my chronicles about my shopping time!
First-of-all I want to thank Cristina of The Clockwise Nail Polish for the fantastic suggestions that she gave me, thanks to her I exactly knew where to go and what to buy!
Let's start with non-polish related purchases: for the first time in my life I visited a Claire's shop. Yes, I know there are Claire's shops in Italy too, but not in my city or in the surrounding areas. I took the opportunity to buy one of the most famous accessory for hair, the hair donought, and four lip balms with unusual flavours: Coca Cola, Vanilla Coca Cola (I didn't even know it existed!), Fanta and Sprite. I bought three nail polishes too, but I'll show you later. 
I also visited oBoticario shop, where I bought a purifying mask, I will let you know what I think about it after a more accurate testing. 
I was really impressed by Inglot shop located in Cristoforo Colombo Shopping Center (OMG that place is really huge!), I've seen a lot of products which are not available in Italy and prices were a lot cheaper. I was a good girl and I chose only a duochrome pigment, called Pure Pigment Eyeshadow #86, which is a sort of eyeshadow version of Models Own Pinkie Brown. Its price? 13€, maybe not cheap, but definitely a lot better of Italian price (18.90€...). 
My last make-up purchase was a beautiful, super pigmentated and cheap eyeshadow by Miyo, #34 Iris.

Inglot Pure Pigment #86

Per quanto riguarda gli smalti, beh in primis devo citare la mia visita presso il paradiso, il negozio dei sogni di ogni smaltara che si rispetti: Verniz de Luxo, situato vicino alla fermata della metro di Alameda e a due passi dal bel Jardim da Alameda Dom Afonso Henriques, in cui trovate esclusivamente smalti, accessori da nail art e prodotti di nail care. Il tutto a prezzi più che invitanti.
Per citare alcune delle marche qui vendute: Rose Jade, Coral Prosilk, Actuelle, Flormar, Inocos e persino qualcosa della brasiliana Ludurana o l'italiana Bella Oggi. Vi consiglio davvero di visitare la loro pagina Facebook linkata qui sopra, ne vale la pena!
Ma Ludurana non è il solo marchio brasiliano che ho trovato a Lisbona, infatti nei negozi dei cinesi è disponibile un discreto assortimento della Risqué, nella versione "Europa" (non so che differenza ci sia, ho solo notato la scritta sulla confezione dello smalto).
Ho inoltre scoperto, e tenetevi forte, che Layla costa meno in Portogallo che in Italia. Dire che sono incavolata nera è un eufemismo. Lascio a voi ulteriori commenti perché io potrei aggiungere parole sgradevoli. Vi dico solo che il retail price dei Mirror è di 9.90€ (contro i 12.20€ italiani), ma è solo un esempio di come i prezzi siano minori, e che io ho facilmente trovato in saldo tutta la linea a 5€; il risultato è che mi sono presa il Black as Ebony, che volevo da una vita ma non abbastanza da pagarlo 12 e passa piotte.
Infine, sono rimasta conquistata da uno smalto della collezione estiva di oBoticario, l'Ocean Drive Orange, splendido sui piedi, per cui è stato l'ultimo acquisto della mia maratona spendereccia.
In generale, ho molto apprezzato i marchi portoghesi, i prezzi sono davvero invitantissimi. Nessuno degli smalti portoghesi che vedrete qui sotto mi è costato più di 2.50€.
Come mi faceva però giustamente notare Cristina, non sono presenti finish particolarmente innovativi, ad esempio l'unico holo che ho trovato è l'Actuelle #464.
In ogni caso, mi sono davvero goduta le mie parentesi di shopping tra una visita ad un museo e una scarpinata nei quartieri storici. Vi lascio alle mie foto, nelle didascalie troverete tutti i nomi dei prodotti e i link ai post qualora io li abbia già usati in qualche nail art.

Talking about nail polish: well, first-of-all I have to mention my visit to nail polish heaven, Verniz de Luxo, a store located near the metro station of Alameda and next to the beautiful Jardim da Alameda Dom Afonso Henriques; this store is entirely dedicated to nail polishes, accessories for nail art and nail care products. And prices are so inviting! Just to mention some of the brands sold here: Rose Jade, Coral Prosilk, Actuelle, Flormar, Inocos and even some stuff by the Brazilian brand Ludurana.
I really recommend to visit their Facebook page linked above, it's worth it!
But Ludurana is not the only Brazilian brand that can be found in Lisbon, in fact in Chinese shops there is a nice range of Risqué, in the "Europe" version (I have no idea of the difference, I just noticed this writing on the package of the nail polishes). 
I have also discovered that the Italian brand Layla is cheaper in Portugal than in Italy. NO COMMENT. I found on sale Black as Ebony from the Mirror Collection (5€ instead of 12.20€ which is the Italian price) so I bought it too. Ironic, isn't it? 
My last purchase: I was conquered by a polish from the summer collection of oBoticario, Ocean Drive Orange, it looks wonderful applied on feet. 
Overall, I really enjoyed my shopping time, Portuguese brands have really nice colours and extremely cheap prices. 
Well, I really wrote a lot, so maybe it's better if I stop here. Under my pics you will find the name of each shade and eventually link to other posts if I have already used them in some nail arts.

Sebbene un po' in ritardo, ecco a voi i miei acquisti al Cosmoprof 2013. Avrei dovuto pubblicare questo post ieri, ma ho procrastinato per un ottimo motivo... La creazione del mio primo brownie! Non indulgerò nella falsa modestia e andrò dritta al punto: è venuto una favola (grazie Eleonora per avermi suggerito un'ottima ricetta).
Chiusa questa parentesi culinaria, torno in topic ed inizio a mostrarvi il mio bottino. Ne approfitto per chiedere scusa in particolare a Piola di questo ritardo, non scordatevi di curiosare anche tra i suoi acquisti!

I'm a bit late but I'm ready to show you my purchases at Cosmoprof 2013. I had to publish this post yesterday but I didn't have the time because I decided to prepare and cook my first brownie... It is absolutely delicious, I'm so happy about the result (special thanks to my friend Eleonora who suggested me a fantastic recipe).

Post preprogrammato, in questo momento probabilmente sarò con le lacrime agli occhi e le mani nei capelli mentre apro la casella mail del lavoro!
Comunque, vi volevo far vedere cosa mi ha portato il mese di dicembre, periodo particolarmente proficuo dal punto di vista smaltifero.
Procedendo in mero ordine cronologico di ricezione, ad inizio dicembre mi sono vista con la solita Simona di Light Your Nails, che mi ha consegnato la mia parte di un mega swap cumulativo. Provenienza? Brasileeeee!
E fu così che nel mio Helmer entrarono un bel po' di Jade holo, due Speciallità Hits Phenomena, un multichrome Ludurana e un Ellen Gold, anch'esso holo a giudicare da come appare in boccetta.

This is a programmed post, in this moment I think I will be desperate after coming back to work and after opening the email I use for work reasons only for the first time after holidays!
Anyway, I wanted to show you all the nail polishes I received during December; it was such a great month from a polished point of view!
Following a chronological order, during the first week-end of the month I met Simona of Light Your Nails and she took me my part of a huge swap she organized with a brazilian friend.
So, thanks to them, I have now in my Helmer a lot of holo polishes by Jade, two Speciallità Hits Phenomena, a Ludurana multichrome and a Hellen Gold, which I suppose is a holo too.

Verso metà mese, invece, è stato il turno di un pacchetto, nuovamente proveniente dal Brasile, ma con mittente mio cognato! Dopo averlo stalkerizzato in tutti i modi, per mesi, mesi e mesi (facciamo anni, va là!), mi ha inviato un bel po' di meraviglie. Ho impilato i miei tesssssori sulla scatola usata per la spedizione, non che si veda molto ma... Visto che carina? E' tutta decorata con pacchetti regalo infiocchettati.
Comunque, è andata a rimpolpare la mia collezione di Speciallità Hits No Olimpo e mi ha portato anche un bel po' di multichrome; purtroppo Atena, porella, ha avuto un incidente: non so quanto si noti nella foto, ma manca quasi metà boccia. Oltretutto la formula era stile sottilette fila e fondi. Credo che sia stata aperta, provata e richiusa ad mentula canis, così deve essere evaporato il toluene e buonanotte al secchio. La sto pimpando di thinner, sperem ben.
Comunque, nella prima foto: Speciallità Hits No Olimpo Demeter, Atena, Dionisio, Apolo, Hera, Speciallità Hits Phenomena Afterglow, Speciallità Hits Mari Moon Cutie Pie, Dreamer, Unconventional and Daring.

After three or four years of phone and Skype calls, many Facebook messages, a couple of threats and, in general, a heavy stalking, my brother-in-law finally sent me a lot of beeeeeautiful brazilian polishes! I loved also the packaging he used, can you see a bit of the box? It's decorated with gift packages, so cute!
Anyway, these polishes are absolutely stunning, you probably know everything about holos and multichromes by Speciallità so I'm not going to talk more about them for now. I'm a bit sorry for Athena, she had an accident: I think you can see a bit in the pics that a lot of product is missing. When I opened it, formula was super thick and gloppy and impossible to use. I think that someone tries the polish at the store and left it opened, so toluene evaporated and bye bye Atena! I'm using a lot of thinner, hope this will help. 
Well, these are the names of the polishes, in the first picture from left to right: Speciallità Hits No Olimpo Demeter, Atena, Dionisio, Apolo, Hera, Speciallità Hits Phenomena Afterglow, Speciallità Hits Mari Moon Cutie Pie, Dreamer, Unconventional and Daring.

Infine: durante le vacanze di Natale mi sono vista con la mia amica d'infanzia S., ci conosciamo dai tempi dell'asilo e insieme abbiamo fatto elementari, medie, liceo ed università, seppure in corsi di laurea differenti. Ormai lei vive oltreoceano ed è stata tanto gentile da portarmi tre Zoya e regalarmi due China Glaze.
In mezzo, l'intruso: uno smalto Romax, che mi risulta essere una marca prodotta proprio nella mia zona, regalo della mia parrucchiera (ebbene sì, mi faccio ancora i capelli al paesiello, non sia mai che qualcuno che non sia più che fidato si avvicini alle mie chiome con le forbici... Vi sembrerò esagerata, ma ho un trauma mai represso in materia).
Da sinistra a destra: Shaka Tinting Denim, regalo smaltoso simbolico del mio ragazzo, China Glaze It's a Trap-eze ed Angel Eyes, lo smalto Romax, Zoya Zuza, Fei Fei and Tiffany.

In the end: during the Xmas holidays I saw S., an old friend of mine... We met when we were 5 years old and we attented the same graded school, the same junior high school, the same upper school, even the same university, even if we studied in two different degree courses. Anyway, she actually lives and works in the US and she bought three Zoyas and two China Glazes for me.
In the middle, a Romax polish (according to my researches, Romax is a brand from a city near my hometown), a gift of my hairdresser.

Ciao a tutte! Post ricco di foto... Infatti vi riassumo gli acquisti smaltosi degli ultimi due mesi o giù di lì. Incrementati dalla compare bloggara e dimonia tentatrice Simona di Light Your Nails, che ho incontrato un paio di settimane fa per scambiarci gli acquisti fatti l'una per l'altra.
Inoltre Simona è stata così gentile da recuperarmi un espositore della collezione Snow White di Essence, che mi sarebbe tanto piaciuto vedere sopra al mio Helmer e che, in effetti, ci sta proprio bene!!!
Ora lo sto usando per mettere gli untrieds che voglio swatchare in tempi brevi ed è semplicemente delizioso!
Ma nelle foto di cui sotto raccoglie, per l'appunto, i miei peccatucci estivi... 

Hi ladies! Picture heavy post... I will show you some of my summer sins. A lot of these polishes come from Simona of Light Your Nails, which has bought and swapped several items for me. We met a couple of weeks ago so we could also do polished chatters and polished shopping!
Moreover, Simona gave me an empty exhibitor of Essence Snow White TE. Some posts ago I wrote that I would love to see it over my Helmer and here it is! 
Actually I am using it to store a few untrieds that I want to swatch ASAP, but in the pics below I used it as an exhibitor for my summer sins...

Partendo dal basso a destra, il Catherine Harley Holo #667, i fruttini della collezione Fruity di Essence, il celeberrimo ed iperdesiderato OPI DS Glamour (mio, mio, finalmente MIOOOOOOO!) e due top coat, lo Shaka Fluo (provato una volta con pessimi risultati, devo dargli un'altra chance) e il fast drying di NYC, in cui ripongo grosse speranze: un TC economico e ad asciugatura rapida è da sempre nei miei sogni proibiti!!!

Durante il nostro giro di shopping abbiamo anche trovato un bel po' dei rari, perché discontinui, Glisten Up! di Essence, ne abbiamo presi un po' per swappare!  

During our shopping tour, we also found a lot of Essence Glisten Up!, which are rare because discontinued, so we bought a bunch of them for swaps!

Nel lettino dell'espositore, da sinistra a destra, ecco a voi Prince Charming, Snow White e The Huntsman (il Principe, Biancaneve e il Cacciatore) in una sorta di sandwich perverso!!!

I miei primi Kleancolor!!!!! Adoro questi smalti e ne vorrei moooooolti altri! Quello a sinistra è Holo Chrome, quello a destra è Chunky Holo Bluebell. In mezzo a loro, l'italianissimo Shake Pop Green.

Ho peccato ancora molto, complici i saldi da Kiko e da Lilyox, nuovo brand di make up italiano davvero low cost che mi sta piacendo moltissimo (a parte lo slogan "Segui la farfalla della bellezza" o roba simile che mi sembra davvero a doppio senso...).

Well, these are my summer, polished sins. I have committed maaaany more sins because of Kiko and Lilyox sales (Lilyox is a new make up italian brand, I am really appreciating its products. In particular, its eyeshadows are soooo pigmented and come in a lot of shades and finishes. Moreover, it is super cheap!).

One of the most famous quotes of St. Augustin is: "Oh Lord, give me chastity, but do not give it yet". At the same manner, I hope that someday Odin and Thor will give me parsimony... Maybe not too soon!

E già che c'ero ho ceduto anche al BeYu 330, un fantastico duochrome!

Come ho già scritto, poi, sono stata a Roma per qualche giorno. Non ho avuto molto tempo per fare acquisti dato che ero in loco per questioni di lavoro, ma il risultato dell'arrivare a Termini un'ora e mezza prima della partenza del treno è stato l'acquisto dell'Essie To Buy or Not to Buy (nomen omen), un rosa delicato con un tocco di lilla e un bellissimo shimmer blu.

As I already wrote, I was in Rome for nearly a week. I was there for work reasons, so I didn't have the chance to do a city tour or so much shopping. Luckily I arrived in Rome Termini one hour and a half before the departure of my train, so I went to Sephora and took the beautiful Essie To Buy or Not to Buy, a gorgeous pink with a hint of lilac and a strong blue shimmer. 

Infine, complice la stanchezza e le demonie tentatrici Francesca e Serena, ho fatto ciò che mi ero ripromessa di non fare: comprare degli ombretti. Ed ecco qua che nel mio stash sono entrati un refill dell'Aquadisiac di MAC e il pigmento, sempre MAC, Reflects Transparent Teal. I due ciliegioni non ne hanno voluto sapere di farsi fotografare decorosamente, per cui mi riprometto di farveli vedere per benino più avanti!
So che non avrei dovuto, ma chiedo la vostra assoluzione.

In the end... I know. I shouldn't have bought these last two items. But I was sooooo tired, and moreover I was with two very special personal shoppers (my friends Serena and Francesca), so I bought also a refill of Aquadisiac and the stunning pigment Reflects Transparent Teal (both from MAC). 
Please, absolve me!
These two young masters were incredibly difficult to photograph, so I will write ASAP a review with better swatches.
