Oggi vi propongo uno stamping realizzato lo scorso mese e che mi ha fatto penare non poco...
L'idea iniziale prevedeva il realizzare una scacchiera olografica a tre colori sfruttando un design della mia Big SdP Plate D di Dashica, per cui mi sono messa all'opera arraffando il Jade Energy (blu chiaro holo), il Jade Psicodélica (argento holo) e l'Essence Just Rock It! (blu scuro creme).

Se mi seguite da un po', non sarà per voi una gran scoperta sapere che Jade è uno dei miei brand preferiti: i suoi smalti holo son così belli da farti commuovere, di certo non lesinano sulla polvere di fata che ci mettono dentro.

Qualche sera fa avevo voglia di pincionare con lo stamping, e m'è venuto in mente di non aver mai provato a creare gli stickers con lo stamping. Questa tecnica consente anche di colorare i particolari che desideriamo del nostro pattern.

Today's theme in tinsel or ornaments, and I decided to draw some holographic Christmas ball ornamentes on my nails.
I started with Zoya Toni, a purple creme, as a base. Then I did a sort of reverse glitter gradient with China Glaze Gold Digger and Angel Wings. Moreover, I used China Glaze Cheers to you for the ornaments strings and a lot of holographic nail polishes for the Xmas balls! Here it's the list:

Rainbow 2.0: Purple! [Jade Fascinio Violeta]

Salve a tutte!
Ci avviciniamo alla fine di questa ennesima avventura smaltara, quindi è ora di giocarmi un vero e proprio pezzo da novanta. E sapete che per me andare sul pesante vuol dire optare per uno smalto holo linear, ovviamente brasiliano! Aaaaah, come li fanno loro gli olografici e i multichrome...!

Jade Magia

Ah signore mie, oggi le mie batterie sono proprio a terra. Una grande stanchezza mi pervade.
Se mi leggete da tempo, sapete che per me lo smalto, come la nail art, è anche un modo di ricaricarmi, una specie di piccola autoterapia antistress. E stasera ci vuole davvero qualcosa di notevole per tirarmi su, una specie di argano a motore formato boccetta.
Per cui ecco a voi il Jade Magia (chiamato Magia Negra nella prima release), un rarissimo nero con effetto holo linear - senza nulla togliere al nostrano Layla Flash Black, che è splendido, ma decisamente non è nero.
Questo gioiello ha una stesura e una durata ineccepibili, una bella coprenza (due mani sottili nelle foto) ma tempi di asciugatura non proprio rapidi. Io direi che glielo si può tranquillamente perdonare, e voi che dite?

My beloved readers, today I'm really, really tired. I'm simply exhausted. 
I have the ability to handle heavy workloads and operate effectively under stressful conditions, but when I am at home, I need something to alleviate the stress of daily life. And I have often written that nail polish (and nail art) is a sort of therapy for me. 
So, for today's post, I picked something really special, that's Jade Magia (also called Magia Negra in the first release). Magia is a true black with an amazing, strong linear holo effect. Finding a black polish with a holo linear effect is really rare, i.e. Layla Flash Black is beautiful, but it's a dark grey.
This jewel has a flawless formula, application is easy and simple and longevity is good too, but it takes a bit to dry. Pigmentation is high, in my pics you can see how it looks after two, thin coats.
Isn't it gorgeous?!

[Haul] From Brazil with love

Beh, ad essere completamente oneste questo non è esattamente un post haul, perché questi bambini mi sono arrivati come regalo da parte di mio cognato che, dopo tanti anni, è finalmente tornato in Italia a trovarci. Sono stata una ragazza fortunata, ho potuto scegliere io stessa ogni singolo smalto da far entrare in casa mia, on line e comodamente seduta sul mio divano.
Ma andiamo a vedere uno per uno i miei nuovi tesori!

Well, this is not exactly a haul, because all these babies are part of the gift that my brother-in-law made me a couple of weeks ago.

Holothon #12: Jade Vermelho Surreal

Pura lussuria. In estrema sintesi, questa è la descrizione dello smalto di oggi, il brasiliano Jade Vermelho Surreal. Un rosso pieno, intenso, brillante, dall'effetto holo linear sconvolgente (molto più che in foto, fidatevi).
Due passate per la coprenza perfetta, applicazione semplicissima e durata ottima. L'unico difetto è che i tempi di asciugatura, se non si utilizza un top coat, sono lunghetti.
Ormai non trovo più le parole per esprimere la mia ammirazione per gli olografici della Jade, per cui chiudo con un suggerimento: l'accoppiata Jade Vermelho Surreal sulle unghie - Shaka Devil sulle labbra è davvero letale!

Pure lust. This is a short but perfect description of the nail polish of the day, the Brazilian Jade Vermelho Surreal. A super intense red with a stunning holo linear effect, which is much more visible in real life than in my pics. 
Two coats for the perfect coverage, application is really easy and longevity is really good too. Drying time is a bit long if you don't use a top coat over it.
I really can't find better words to describe my admiration for Jade holos, but my pics will talk for me. Just a little suggestion: Jade Vermelho Surreal on the nails - Shaka Devil on the lips is really a deadly combination!

Holothon #09: Jade Mystic Gold

Ciao a tutte!
Le mie ferie sono agli sgoccioli e devo dire che ho dedicato davvero poco tempo al blog, o meglio all'editing dei video, contrariamente a quanto promesso. Ops.
Spero di farmi perdonare con uno smalto davvero super, il brasiliano Jade Mystic Gold. Trovo che sia davvero un colore da spiaggia, con quel dorato brillante ed intenso che si abbina tanto bene alla sabbia bollente e quell'effetto holo linear che esce così bene grazie al sole incandescente.
Due mani per la perfetta coprenza, asciugatura rapida e durata davvero molto buona anche senza top coat. Anche l'applicazione è semplice e rapida grazie ad un pennello ergonomico e una formula ineccepibile.

My holidays are almost over and I've been spending lazy days at the sea or just eating a lot! This means that I haven't edited my video tutorials yet... Ops.
Hope that you'll forgive me after seeing the wondeful polish of the day, the Brazilian Jade Mystic Gold. I think this is the perfect polish for the beach: it is a beautiful, intense and bright gold that matches perfecty with hot sand. Moreover, its crazy holo linear effect comes out so well thanks to the glowing sun. 
Two coats for perfect coverage, it dries quickly and it has a very good longevity even without a top coat. Even the application is quick and easy thanks to its ergonomic brush and flawless formula. 
I took a ton of pics of this beauty, so maybe it's better if I stop writing here! That's all I have for you today, thank you for reading and watching and have a nice evening!

Holothon #03: Jade Delirio Rosa

Buonasera signorine!
Puntata #03 della nostra holothon, direi che è ormai ora di portarvi con me in Brasile! Lo smalto di oggi è infatti Delirio Rosa del brand verde-oro Jade. Quando si dice un nome, una garanzia...!
Delirio Rosa è il classico rosa Big Babol con un effetto holo linear piuttosto evidente. Ovviamente non c'è stato verso di catturare completamente la sua olograficità con la fotocamera (né coi due cellulari), cosa che mi ha fatto sclerare non poco. Comunque, le mie foto rendono piuttosto bene l'idea di come questo smalto appaia; aggiungeteci giusto, con un po' di fantasia, un pizzico di effetto LSD.
La formula è fantastica, lo smalto si applica quasi da solo; l'unico difetto è che l'odore non è proprio il massimo: colpa del toluene presente nell'INCI. Due mani per la coprenza perfetta e tempi di asciugatura nettamente superiori a quelli degli holo linear classici, ma comunque abbastanza rapidi.
D'altro canto questo smalto promette molto bene a livello di durata, è vero che lo porto da solo 24 ore, ma non si è ancora minimamente consumato in punta o sugli angoli, cosa che invece mi è accaduta ad esempio coi Layla o gli Nfu Oh. UPDATE: questo smalto ha una durata eccellente!
La cosa curiosa di questo smalto è che è talmente lucido anche senza top coat che sembra di avere un sottilissimo strato di vinile rosa strobo sulle unghie... Fantastico!

Third post of our Holothon, do you want to come with me to Brazil?!? The nail polish of the day, Delirio Rosa, is from the brazilian brand Jade. Its name is a guarantee!
Delirio Rosa is a classic Barbie pink with a strong holo linear effect. It was impossible to capture all the beauty of this crazy rainbow effect, I tried with my camera, with my smartphone, with the mobile phone of my boyfriend but... No way! So, please use your fantasy to add a touch of holographic powder to my pics, and you will have a better idea of how this polish looks in real life.
Formula is great and application is super easy; its smell is a bit strong, I think this is due to the presence of toluene in its INCI. Two coats for the perfect coverage, and it dries slower compared to classic holo polishes. I've been wearing it for 24 hours, so I can't say a lot about its longevity; anyway, it is still perfect, I think it will last a lot more than Laylas or Nfu Ohs. UPDATE: Delirio Rosa has an incredible longevity too!
A curious thing about this nail polish is that it seems you have a thin coat of bright pink vinyl on your nails, since it is really, really glossy and shiny... I love it!

[Haul] You need good supplies to face a hard winter!

Post preprogrammato, in questo momento probabilmente sarò con le lacrime agli occhi e le mani nei capelli mentre apro la casella mail del lavoro!
Comunque, vi volevo far vedere cosa mi ha portato il mese di dicembre, periodo particolarmente proficuo dal punto di vista smaltifero.
Procedendo in mero ordine cronologico di ricezione, ad inizio dicembre mi sono vista con la solita Simona di Light Your Nails, che mi ha consegnato la mia parte di un mega swap cumulativo. Provenienza? Brasileeeee!
E fu così che nel mio Helmer entrarono un bel po' di Jade holo, due Speciallità Hits Phenomena, un multichrome Ludurana e un Ellen Gold, anch'esso holo a giudicare da come appare in boccetta.

This is a programmed post, in this moment I think I will be desperate after coming back to work and after opening the email I use for work reasons only for the first time after holidays!
Anyway, I wanted to show you all the nail polishes I received during December; it was such a great month from a polished point of view!
Following a chronological order, during the first week-end of the month I met Simona of Light Your Nails and she took me my part of a huge swap she organized with a brazilian friend.
So, thanks to them, I have now in my Helmer a lot of holo polishes by Jade, two Speciallità Hits Phenomena, a Ludurana multichrome and a Hellen Gold, which I suppose is a holo too.

Verso metà mese, invece, è stato il turno di un pacchetto, nuovamente proveniente dal Brasile, ma con mittente mio cognato! Dopo averlo stalkerizzato in tutti i modi, per mesi, mesi e mesi (facciamo anni, va là!), mi ha inviato un bel po' di meraviglie. Ho impilato i miei tesssssori sulla scatola usata per la spedizione, non che si veda molto ma... Visto che carina? E' tutta decorata con pacchetti regalo infiocchettati.
Comunque, è andata a rimpolpare la mia collezione di Speciallità Hits No Olimpo e mi ha portato anche un bel po' di multichrome; purtroppo Atena, porella, ha avuto un incidente: non so quanto si noti nella foto, ma manca quasi metà boccia. Oltretutto la formula era stile sottilette fila e fondi. Credo che sia stata aperta, provata e richiusa ad mentula canis, così deve essere evaporato il toluene e buonanotte al secchio. La sto pimpando di thinner, sperem ben.
Comunque, nella prima foto: Speciallità Hits No Olimpo Demeter, Atena, Dionisio, Apolo, Hera, Speciallità Hits Phenomena Afterglow, Speciallità Hits Mari Moon Cutie Pie, Dreamer, Unconventional and Daring.

After three or four years of phone and Skype calls, many Facebook messages, a couple of threats and, in general, a heavy stalking, my brother-in-law finally sent me a lot of beeeeeautiful brazilian polishes! I loved also the packaging he used, can you see a bit of the box? It's decorated with gift packages, so cute!
Anyway, these polishes are absolutely stunning, you probably know everything about holos and multichromes by Speciallità so I'm not going to talk more about them for now. I'm a bit sorry for Athena, she had an accident: I think you can see a bit in the pics that a lot of product is missing. When I opened it, formula was super thick and gloppy and impossible to use. I think that someone tries the polish at the store and left it opened, so toluene evaporated and bye bye Atena! I'm using a lot of thinner, hope this will help.

Infine: durante le vacanze di Natale mi sono vista con la mia amica d'infanzia S., ci conosciamo dai tempi dell'asilo e insieme abbiamo fatto elementari, medie, liceo ed università, seppure in corsi di laurea differenti. Ormai lei vive oltreoceano ed è stata tanto gentile da portarmi tre Zoya e regalarmi due China Glaze.
In mezzo, l'intruso: uno smalto Romax, che mi risulta essere una marca prodotta proprio nella mia zona, regalo della mia parrucchiera (ebbene sì, mi faccio ancora i capelli al paesiello, non sia mai che qualcuno che non sia più che fidato si avvicini alle mie chiome con le forbici... Vi sembrerò esagerata, ma ho un trauma mai represso in materia).

In the end: during the Xmas holidays I saw S., an old friend of mine... We met when we were 5 years old and we attented the same graded school, the same junior high school, the same upper school, even the same university, even if we studied in two different degree courses. Anyway, she actually lives and works in the US and she bought three Zoyas and two China Glazes for me.
In the middle, a Romax polish (according to my researches, Romax is a brand from a city near my hometown), a gift of my hairdresser.
