Mr. Pee's Corner #1: L'Oréal Men Expert Pur&Opaque - review

Mr. Pee è pronto a rispondere a ogni interrogativo!

Do you want to make a gift to your boyfriend, brother, lover, friend? Or a man belonging to one of these categories has asked you for an advice on a moisturizer? In any case, suggest them to avoid L'Oreal Men Expert Pure&Matte Hydratating Gel Anti-Shine (catchy name, isn't it?).
At least, Mr. Pee doesn't recommend it, at all.
Today Mr. Pee, willy-nilly (more willy, I'd say), makes his first official review for this blog. As you can imagine, Mr. Pee is not a huge user of skin and body care products, so in the next episodes he will wear more the role of scientific advisor to explain the mechanisms that lie behind some kind of nail polish or nail art.
For example, do you want to know why thermal nail polishes change their color? Or which mistery lies behind magnetic nail polish? Or why water marble works how it works? Mr. Pee is ready to answer any question!
But let's back to the review of the day. Mr. Pee is very lucky, he has a fabulous skin, free of pimples, spots and blemishes of any kind (he has just a few black spot on the nose but do not hate him for this reason: I already do it enough).
However, the Mr. Pee's skin is also quite sensitive, so he needs some hydration during the winter to avoid peeling. So he bought L'Oreal Men Expert Pure&Matte Hydratating Gel Anti-Shine, which promises to moisturize but to avoid sebum, as well as to keep the skin not shiny, clean and purified. Mmmmm, no, it wasn't so.
L'Oreal Men Expert Pure&Matte Hydratating Gel Anti-Shine looks like a green gel, which is light and fresh and has a good smell too. It absorbs very quickly.
Nothing to complain about shine or hydratation: his skin looks really matte and was moisturized. The problem is that after a few days of use of this cream, Mr. Pee noticed on his beautiful and perfect skin many spots and pimples. He immediately thought that it was fault of this gel, since he doesn't use other skin care products, except for a soap to wash his face.
In fact, when he stopped using this gel, everything is back to normal.
But since we want to be reliable reporters, Mr. Pee made a second attempt: he started to use this gel once again, and after a few days pimples and spots came back! Obviously they disappeared once he permanently suspended the use of this crap.
It's quite odd that a product that should keep your skin clean and matte is, in real life, so much comedogenic, but so be it. Mr. Pee's test proves it.
I checked its INCI on line, and in fact I found out that it contains a lot of silicones. However, you can find the complete INCI at the end of this post.
I recycled this gel as a moisturizer for my feet, but of course it wasn't appropriate since it does not provide enough hydratation.
In conclusion: Mr. Pee doesn't recommend it, at all, unless you want to turn you into a teenager with serious hormonal problems.
And that's all I have for you today, thank you for reading and watching and have a nice evening!

XD
