CND Vinylux Dark Dahlia

Mai come oggi sono felice di esclamare: finalmente è venerdì!
Per festeggiare recensione piuttosto ricca, infatti andrò a parlarvi di un'altra sfumatura di recente creazione in casa CND, il Dark Dahlia, appartenente alla nuova collezione Forbidden.
Dark Dahlia è stato creato sia in versione Vinylux che con la formulazione Shellac - come vi avevo detto in passato le due linee hanno diversi colori comuni in modo che si possa scegliere quale prodotto faccia più al caso proprio, ma senza rinunciare alla sfumatura di colore che si preferisce.
Come da titolo, la mia esperienza riguarda la sua versione Vinylux, ed ovviamente ne ho messo alla prova la durata settimanale.
CND Vinylux Dark Dahlia è un viola mora molto scuro dal finish creme; è coprente in due passate molto sottili, ma visto che la formula è davvero eccellente e facile da gestire, potreste anche arrischiare un'unica passata piuttosto carica. Asciuga molto velocemente già senza top coat.
Come mi è capitato quando ho provato i suoi "colleghi" Pink Bikini e Gilded Pleasure, l'ho messo alla prova sia senza applicare una base che invece utilizzandola (per coloro che sentissero la necessità di non abbandonare la propria base rinforzante), e come in passato non c'è stata nessuna differenza.
In coda al post potrete vedere l'evoluzione dello smalto durante gli otto giorni in cui l'ho indossato. Solo al giorno #6 il tip wrapping ha iniziato a consumarsi e solo al giorno #8 c'è stato un leggero tip wear. In ogni caso, come vedrete, la visione "frontale" appare sostanzialmente perfetta, il che è molto importante quando si indossano smalti molto scuri in cui ogni minimo difetto appare enfatizzato.

Today I'm really, really happy to say: thanks god it's Friday! 
I'd like to celebrate with a very rich review about one of the latest shade created by CND, that's Dark Dahlia from the recent Forbidden Collection. Dark Dahlia was created both in Vinylux and Shellac formulation: as I wrote in the past, these two lines have different colours in common, so you can choose which product is better for you without renouncing to a certain shade. 
As the title itself of this post suggests, I tried the Vinylux version of Dark Dahlia, and of course I tested its weekly longevity. 
Talking about the colour: Dark Dahlia is a very dark blackberry purple from a creme finish. It is opaque in two thin coats but, since its formula is really perfect and easy to work with, you can even try to apply one, thick coat. 
It dries very quickly, even without top coat. As it happened when I tested its "colleagues" Pink Bikini and Gilded Pleasure, I didn't apply a base coat on some nails but I applied it on other nails and I didn't notice any difference in the weekly longevity. So, if you don't want to renounce to your favourite base coat, just like a nail hardener, feel free to use it above a Vinylux polish.
At the end of this post you are going to see the "evolution" of Dark Dahlia. At day #6 the tip wrapping was slightly worn out, and only at day #8 I noticed a slight tip wear. In any case, as you will see, the "frontal" aspect of the polish is nearly perfect, and we all know that this is very important when you are wearing very dark shades in which every single flaw is emphasized.
