August Empties

Buonasera a tutte!
  • Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch Lotion Sunscreen SPF 30: no, no e NO.
Super, super, super pratico!

Hi my lovely readers!
Another month is over, so it's time to show you my finished product of the period. I didn't finished any make-up products, but I'm still satisfied. Here they are!
  • Old friends of mine: Essence Nail Polish Remover Ultra and Garnier Ultra Dolce Shampoo Madreperla e Fiori di Ciliegio (Mother pearl and cherry blossom).
  • Lush Glogg: I really love this limited edition shower gel, which is quite weird because I usually hate spiced smells. I tend to use it during the cold season, but it was almost finished so I decided to "kill" it during past month.
  • Equilibra Dermo Gel Multiattivo (Aloe gel): you already know that I'm a huge fan of this product, it's one of my Summer Essential and I talked about it and its performances in this post.
  • Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch Lotion Sunscreen SPF 30: no, no and NO. You know that I love Hawaiian Tropic's products but this one is not for me, I had a lot of spots on my face when I used it. The only difference between this version, the "sheer touch" one, and my beloved "standard" version, is that the sheer touch contains a sort of iridescent powder, so you "sparkle" in the sunlight after application. Yes, that's nice, but I'm afraid this is the cause of my spots.
  • Piz Buin Moisturizing Sun Lotion SPF 10: Piz Buin is another of my most favourite brands when it comes to sun lotions. I applied this lotion on my legs only (this explains the low SPF) and it's a pleasant, effective and non-greasy product.
  • Garnier Ambre Solaire Spray Latte Protettivo SPF 15: another sun lotion, but in spray version. Mr. Pee and me love it! It's super, super, super practical to use. It's not greasy, it absorbs quickly and it provides good protection and hydration. It contains less products that the creamy sun lotions I use (150 ml VS 200/250 ml) so it finished quicker, but I bought it for such a cheap price that I really can't complain.
  • La Saponaria Shampoo Naturale all'Olio di Oliva Bio (Organic Olive Oil Shampoo): mmm this is a good product, but definitely not for me - I have long, thin hair with dry ends. It seems that it didn't wash them accurately. During the last period I wash my hair more than usual, so it was a "honest" product. Anyway my husband, who has short, thicker and wavy hair, liked it a lot.
  • A ton of samples! Nashi Argan Conditioner: what can I say, Nashi Argan's products are excellent and this conditioner is not an exception, I was really impressed by it. Biofficina Toscana Detergente Delicato: as I already wrote in the past, this seems to be an excellent product, but I can't stand its smell. L'Erbolario Crema Solare alla Carota, al Sesamo e al Karité SPF 30 e L'Erbolario Crema Solare Acceleratrice di Abbronzatura all'olio di jojoba SPF15: two different sun lotions from the same brands, they did their duty. Bioearth Loom Serum: this product is really runny. Like water. Anyway, it's fresh, quick to absorb and provides a medium hydration. Some fragrances: Diesel Loverdose - Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire - Givenchy Eau de Mademoiselle - I don't like them. At all! Their smell is too sweet and nauseating for my tastes. The "best! of the bunch is the one from Diesel, the worst is the Guerlain's one.
And these were my August Empties, see you next month with more finished products and see you soon with a new nail polish!
