March Empties

Sciau a tutte!
  • NYC Smooth Skin Mousse Foundation in 700 Ivory: recensito qui.
  • Argan Italia Bio Dry Shampoo: no, no e no. Ennesimo, costoso tentativo con prodotti bio per capelli miseramente fallito.
  • Unico sample: Ziaja Rose Butter Moisturising Day Cream.

Hi my lovely ladies!
I'm super late with my Monthly Empties post, so let's start talking about them immediately!
  • Splend'Or Almond flowers and Shea Butter Hair Conditioner: maybe you remember the fact that I used to love so much this super cheap hair conditioner. At some point, though, it stopped giving me the usual, excellent results and I decided to try other products for a while. Recently, I decided to give it one more try and I'm super happy, it didn't disappoint me! I already bought one more bottle.
  • NYC Smooth Skin Mousse Foundation in 700 Ivory: reviewed here. I love this foundation, it really has a high performance. I already bought one more box.
  • CND Scrub Fresh: this is a nail cleanser, used to wipe the surface before applying semi-permanent or do gel or acrilic nails. Of course, you can also use it before applying a "standard" nail polish! I must confess that it is a product that I used only a little, moreover once opened it began to evaporate - very slowly, let's say that it takes a couple of years. In other words, if you buy it you should use it "seriously" or it will have some evaporation problems.
  • Argan Italia Bio Dry Shampoo: no, no and no. Once more, my attempts with organic hair products failed miserably. This shampoo was gentle on the skin (sometimes I have annoying dandruff problems), but I found it unusually aggressive on my hair lengths. This fact was confirmed by my husband, who used it for a couple of weeks. This is quite weird considering that this is an argan based product. I won't repurchase it for sure and I was really happy when I finished it.
  • Essence Studio Nails Fix It!: this isn't a finished product but I have to throw it in the trash because it became so dense and "stringy" that it's unusable. I already repurchased it, it is cheap and perfect for small patches or rhinestones and similar applications.
  • Lush Queen of Hearts: if I'm not wrong this soap had been discontinued a long time ago. Too bad, because I really liked it, it is very delicate and moisturing, in fact I occasionally used it as a facial cleanser. In short, if it were still available, I would probably repurchase it.
  • Lush Baby Face: I kept the worst for last. This is supposed to be a solid make-up remover. Formula is based on different butters and it should easily melt in contact with body heat. NO. This isn't the truth. It was very difficult to melt a proper quantity of product and use it on my face. Moreover, after some weeks it has started to crack in many small pieces and crumble, so I was forced to take a small piece of product and melt it over a cotton pad placed on the heater to use it. Then, it didn't remove my make-up. At all. Finally, after the use my skin was super, super oily. One of the worst products I have ever tested.
  • One sample only: Ziaja Rose Butter Moisturising Day Cream. I think I already shared my first impressions on this cream... When in doubt, I repeat: every Ziaja cream I've tried is an incredible surprise and I really can't wait to try a full size.
And there were my March Empties!
