ABC Challenge: O for One Stroke

Hi ladies
and welcome back to another post of our polished marathon!
For letter O, I had a unique option: One Stroke. I have a sort of obsession for one stroke manicures, even if I have rarely made some attempts. So, here it is my first try with calla lilies.
I used Orly Coachella Dweller as a base and Kiko #268 to add a bit of shimmer.
I must admit I am not fully satisfied with the final result: I won't define it as a fail, but a "try again and you will be luckier". The lily is a bit "isolated", I suppose I should have drawn a better background. And I'm not super happy with the execution in general... The worst thing is that I obtained a perfect flower when I made the first try on a nail wheel!!!
Anyway, I'll do better next time. One stroke is a very complicated technique and we all know that practise and experience are essential if you want to do a good job (and I know I can do a very good job, like I did here!).
That's all I have for you today, talk to you soon and have a nice evening!

A me piace nel complesso! Molto molto.

    1. The sacred truth! One strokes sometimes seem quite easy, but they're not... At all!

    1. Thank you so much! <3 One stroke could be very difficult because of the small space you have on your nails to draw and paint... Moreover, I must admit I have no professional tools (cheap acrylics bought at the supermarket!!!)... But I can improve, I hope! :)

  15. Sai cosa?

Your work here, and in your November "O", are absolutely breathtaking.

    Brava.

  18. A me il risultato è piaciuto! Complimenti! :-)

  19. Bravo! I think this was an excellent attempt! I agree it has to be an artform that is perfected with practice. I still haven't been brave enough to try this technique, perhaps once my reviews finally settle down I will try my hand at more complex nail art like this!

  20. You are braver than I am! I love one stroke, but just cant seem to get the technique down, so I won't even try it on my nails. I think this came out really well!

  22. I cant believe this is your first try! It looks soooooo amazing! I've attempted to do one stroke a few times but it always ends in a big fail. But I feel like trying again after seeing this :) Do you know tartofraises on youtube? She does amazing One stroke mani's!
