Buongiorno a tutte!
Hi ladies!
If you're a long time follower of my blog you'd probably know that I'm not the kind of person who wears a color in a certain period of the year because of fixed rules. I have no problem in wearing a neon yellow nail polish during the Winter, or a fatal red lipstick at 8 am, or a bright green eyeshadow for a New Year's Eve Party. But during Christmas time I tend to use the same products and "classic" colours for this period: a lot of gold and red with a touch of silver and green. And, of course, glitters everywhere! Well, in short, these are my Christmas favourites!

Discontinued Day #06: Sleek iDivine Glory
Buonasera donzelle
Hi ladies
and welcome back to Discontinued Days, our monthly appointment with old stuff. Today I'm going to talk about one of my favourite palette ever, that's Sleek iDivine Glory.
I love the concept (it was created for London Olympic Games), I love the fact that the names of the different underground lines matched with colours, I love every single shade and I love the quality of this palette.
The eyeshadows contained in this little jewel have an incredible pigmentation, they're not chalky or dusty and they have a good or even excellent longevity. It contains only a few matte shades, but there's a good proportion between neutral and "sober" colours VS super bright colours, so you can really create a lot of different looks for different situations with just one palette. Central (the brigh red with a matte finish) can be also used as a blush, and this is a further evidence of the versatility of this palette.
Here below you can see more pics of every colours. That's all I have for you today, thank you for reading and watching and have a nice evening!
Prima riga / First row:
Tube: champagne shimmer / shimmery champagne
Overground: beige chiaro shimmer / shimmery light beige
Bakerloo: marrone chiaro shimmer con un tocco di bronzo / shimmery light brown with a touch of bronze
Jubilee: argento shimmer / shimmery silver
Platform: grigio matte / matte grey
Northern: nero con leggerissimo shimmer blu / black with a subtle blue shimmer
Seconda riga / Second row:
District: verde vivo shimmer / shimmer bright green
Hammersmith and City: fucsia shimmer / shimmery hot pink
Piccadilly: blu navy shimmer / shimmery navy blue
Circle: giallo canarino shimmer / shimmery canary yellow
Victoria: azzurro ciano shimmer / shimmery cyan blue
Central: rosso acceso matte / bright matte red

Kiko Dark Heroine LE: Smoky Look Eyeshadow in #07 Inspiration Blue
Ciao ragazze e buona (piovosa) domenica!
Hi ladies and happy (rainy) Sunday!
Today I'm going to show you the second and last product I bought from Kiko Dark Heroine Limited Edition Collection (here my swatches and review of the Twinkle Eye Pencil in Bewitched Periwinkle), that's the jumbo eye pencil called Smoky Look Eyeshadow in #07 Inspiration Blue.
As you probably know I'm crazy for this kind of colour, that I usually call "definitive blue" - or to better say, an electric blue with an opaque finish. This product is really easy and comfortable to use, it has essentially the same principle of Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadows (an authomatic eye pencil with a big applicator).
Colour is full and vibrant since the first pass and is buildable on the lid; it's creamy so you don't have to pull on the lid to apply it and is easy to blend too.
Just a small note on the the applicator located on the opposite end of the tip: in my opinion it is useless. I'd say that it erases the colour instead of blending it.
Anyway, I like this products a lot, I've used it quite often during my free time and during the last days of good weather. In case you are wondering, here in Italy it costs 6.90€ for 1.8 grams of product, so I think it has a good value for money.
That's all I have for you today, thank you for reading and watching and have a nice evening!

Sleek i-Divine Candy Palette: swatches and review
I'm not Sleek's hugest fan, but I first saw the press release about their new palette, i-Divine Candy, I immediately fell in love and decided that I must have it!
I was lucky enough to find this palette in my usual Sephora store, which is quite unusual because doesn't usually carry Sleek products - to be honest, in that store you can't find Urban Decay, you can't find Too Faced, you can't find Sleek, you can't find anything!!!!
But when I opened my palette I had a bad surprise: as you can see in my pics, an eyeshadow was broken. The black one, of course. My fiancé rescued it for me, he did a perfect job!
i-Divine Candy is the perfect palette for me: it contains a lot of bright but not too loud colors, and they are buildable, so you can decide if you prefer a more or less intense look.
In fact this palette you can find greens, light blues, purples and a stunning blue, plus a classic matte black (Liquorice) and a pearly white (Cream Soda) which can be used to illuminate your looks.
I'm really happy with the pigmentation of the shades; the most pigmentated are Aniseed, Apple Sour, Pear Drop and Bon Bon. The least pigmentated are Bubble Gum and Flump - honestly, Flump is a bit disappointing!
Eyeshadows are not powdery, they blend easily and colors are buildable.
Insomma, a me è piaciuta tantissimo.
In conclusion, I love this palette. I also love the design on the cardboard. Personally I recommend it, expecially for those ladies who like candy (!!!), bright and intense colours for their make-up looks
Hope this review has been helpful, thank you for reading and watching and have a nice evening!

Kiko Colour Shock Long Lasting Eyeshadow #06 Lagoon Blue [Fierce Spirit LE]
Salve ragazze!
E un altro week-end è finito... Peccato!
A presto!
Hi ladies!
Unfortunately, the week-end is over... Again!
I decided to spend these last hours of relax writing a review about a recent purchase, that's Kiko Colour Shock Long Lasting Eyeshadow in #06 Lagoon Blue, from the most recent collection of the Italian brand, Fierce Spirit.
At first, I was really enthusiast about this collection: it's so colorful and bright, exactly what I need in this period (the Italian spring is being very sparing with sun and warm weather and I'm really tired of this!). But I also have to say that the products of this collection have a lot of dupes in the Italian market! In particular, some shades from Colour Shock Long Lasting Eyeshadows are exact dupe of Astra Soul Colour Waterproof Eyeshadows (I reviewed here some of their shades) and Wjcon Soft Mousse Eyeshadows.
I suppose that Kiko's international fans don't mind, because Astra and Wjcon are not available in foreign countries. But I decided to write this also in the English version of my post because I want to underline that Mr. Kiko is probably having a lack of ideas in this last year!!!
Anyway, the only item I bought from Fierce Spirit Collection is Lagoon Blue, but I think I will also buy a couple of the nail polishes of the collection during sales.
Lagoon Blue is a stunning deep, bright and intense blue. I love its texture: a soft mousse which is very easy to apply and is buildable too. It has an amazing pigmentation and it can be used as an eyeshadow or as an eyeliner (in my pics, I used it in combo with another Kiko product, an electric blue waterproof eyeshadow).
Lagoon Blue is really long lasting! Even without a primer, it lasts up to 10 hours without creasing on me. Once applied, it dries sooooo fast, so if you want to use it as an eyeshadow and blend it, hurry up!!! I usually collect a tiny amount of product with my brush and I blend it in a few seconds.
If you do a mistake during application, use a waterproof make-up remover to correct it: it's almost impossible to remove it with a "standard" cleasing cream.
I'm really happy with this purchase, I love this kind of color and I'm satisfied with its quality too.
What do you think about Fierce Spirit Collection? Did you buy something?
If you want, tell me in the comments!
That's all I have for you today, thank you for reading and watching and have a nice evening!

Best of 2012 - Make up edition
Buonasera a tutte!
Dopo i miei preferiti del 2012 in campo smaltifero, ecco i miei prediletti nel campo make up.
Poche ciance e fuoco alle polveri!
Hi ladies!
This post will be about my favourite make up products of the year, if you missed my previous post about the best (IMO) nail polishes of 2012 click here!
Are you ready? Go!
Astra Soul Colour Waterproof Eyeshadows
Economici, pigmentatissimi, super durevoli, disponibili in tanti, splendidi e versatili colori. Adoro!
Astra Soul Colour Waterproof Eyeshadows
They're cheap, super pigmented, they last forever and they're available in a lot of beautiful shades. Love them!
MAC Red
Il mio rossetto preferito in assoluto. Il rosso per eccellenza. Il mio rosso. Sì a Russian Red, sì a Ruby Woo ma... MAC Red non si batte!
MAC Red
I bought it a few months ago and it is my fav lipstick ever. This is MY red. Yes, Russian Red is nice, Ruby Woo is lovely but... MAC Red is the best!
MAC Guilty Passions - 4 Brilliantly Cool Crushed Metallic Pigments
MAC MAC Luxurious Pink Lip Look Bag
MAC Guilty Passions - 4 Brilliantly Cool Crushed Metallic Pigments
MAC MAC Luxurious Pink Lip Look Bag
I fell in love with every single kit that MAC made for Holiday 2012. I love the packaging, it's so cute, funny, wll-finished... And sometimes a bit kitsch!!!
I chose this kits (not only for the post, they were under my Christmas tree too!) because I think they had the best value for money.
I'm deeply in love with Crushed Metallic Pigments (last year I bought a holiday kit with the blue version), maybe they're not the easiest to apply but I think they're great products; if you pay attention during application and you use them in small quantities, you can create stunning and super bright looks.
Only a few words for Lip Look Bag: the pochette is so lovely, seriously, have you ever seen anything kitscher????? I won't say anything about the quality of lipstick and lipgloss, we all know... But I have to say that this shade of pink is perfect for me!
Essence Stay All Day Long Lasting Eyeshadow in Camp Rock
Favoloso!
Essence Stay All Day Long Lasting Eyeshadow in Camp Rock
Small price, great quality. This cream eyeshadow lasts for hours and hours without a primer. I also love the color, a grey with a touch of blue and a slightly metallic finish. Fabulous!
Urban Decay Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in Adrenaline e Big Bang
Super pigmentati, durevolissimi, facili da applicare, comodi da tenere in borsetta. Ho subito amato questi matitoni rossetti di Urban Decay, disponibili in otto colori shimmerosissimi.
Urban Decay Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in Adrenaline e Big Bang
It was love at the first sight. These lip pencils are highly pigmented, they have a wonderful longevity and they're easy to apply. They are available in eight super shimmered shades, and I picked Adrenaline (bright fuchsia) and Big Bang (bright pink).
Sleek iDivine Glory
Sleek iDivine Glory
I love the concept (it was created for the Olympic Games), I love the fact that the names of the different underground lines matched with colors, I love every single shade and I love the quality of the palette. This is my first Sleek product, I had never considered this brand for a purchase before I saw Glory for the first time.
Well, these were my fav make up products of the year, see you soon with another post which will be even more personal!

Thank you for reading and watching and have a nice evening!

Astra Soul Colour Waterproof Eyeshadows: swatches and review
Salve a tutte!
Hi ladies!
Today's post is about a product which is having a huge success here in Italy. Last summer Astra, an Italian cheap brand, has launched a line of waterproof eyeshadows (available in 12 colours) which are cheap but have an excellent quality.
These cream eyeshadows have an amazing, excellent, exceptional pigmentation and bright and vibrant shades. I picked #02, a delicate pink with golden reflects; #04, an intense aqua green; #05, a bright sky blue, and #06, a vibrant purple.
The quantity contained in the little pot is not huge, but you need a very small quantity for every look; moreover, they're really cheap (3€ each).
Application is easy for #04 and #05; #06 is more difficult to work with because it is more solid.
I have always applied these beauties without a primer or a base, and they last for hours, hours and hours. They dry super fast and fix on your lid so you have to be very fast if you want to blend them. I usually use a very small quantity of product on my blending brush and I immediately blend it in my crease.
Also, they are gorgeous if used as eyeliners: of course, since they fix almost immediately, you have to correct any kind of mistake with a make up remover.
I know that Astra is sold only in Italy, but I wanted to share this review with my international readers anyway... Maybe you will visit Italy one day and will make some shopping!

Essence Colour Arts Pigments: swatches and review
Buona domenica a tutte!
Hi ladies!
I hope that you're having a wonderful sunday.
As you probably know, Essence has recently launched a collection composed of 20 pigments which can be used in different ways. You can use them in a "classic" way, applying them on your eyes, or you can mix them with a clear polish to create nail arts, or with a gel for the use on the lips.
For this reason, Essence has created also a brush, a nail base, a lip base and an eye base.
When I found the exhibitor a lot of pigments were sold out, but I picked four shades: #10 Fairy Dust, #12 Miss Piggy's Lollipop, #18 Little Mermaid and #20 Black Sparrow.
Fairy Dust is a white full of multicolor micro glitters. It is beautiful as a highlighter, even if I'd wear it for "evening looks" because of this massive presence of microglitters.
Fairy Dust has a fallout problem, so I'd suggest to use it above a primer.
Miss Piggy's Lollipop is a beautiful bright fuchsia with pink, blue and purple shimmers.
Little Mermaid is a bright blue full of light blue and pink shimmers.
Black Sparrow (what a funny name!) is a very dark grey (it looks almost black) with dark green and blue shimmers.
Application is super easy for all of them, except for Fairy Dust which has a fallout problem, as I wrote above. Pigmentation is high: for my pics I applied them dry and without a primer underneath.
Blendability is excellent and also longevity is really good: even if used without a primer, they crease only after many hours. If you want that your make up looks perfect from morning till evening, simply apply a primer.
I'm really impressed by the quality of these pigments, and they are cheap like all Essence products (2.99€ for 2.5 grams of product).
I will include the pics of other shades that were sold out when I found this collection, just to show you three of four other shades available.
Thanks for reading and watching and have a nice sunday!

My first Inglot palette
Da quasi un mese non scrivevo un post relativo al make up. Graverrimo.
I wrote my last make up post last month... Time to do an update!
I want to show you my first Inglot Freedom System Palette. As you probably know, Freedom System allows you to create a customized palette. You can create a palette with 2, 3, 5, 10 or 20 shades.
I chose four eyeshadows and it wasn't easy at all, because Inglot offers a great variety of colors and finishes.
As you can see, my palette is full of super bright colors, I love them!
My picks:
Pearl 429 (in alto a sinistra) / Pearl 429 (top left)
Matte 384 (in alto a destra) / Matte 384 (top right)
DS 480 blue shimmer (in basso a sinistra) / DS 480 (at the bottom left)
DS 473 teal shimmer (in basso a destra) / DS 473 (at the bottom right)
L-R: Pearl 429, Matte 384, DS 473, DS 480
Pearl 429 is a periwinkle with a pearl finish, even if at first sight it seems almost metallic. It has a good pigmentation and it can be blended easily. Longevity is great, even if after 7-8 hours it loses a bit of intensity.
Pearl 429: Dry / Wet
Matte 384 is a grass green with a matte finish. It's extremely pigmented and it's a bit more difficult to blend if used wet. Also in this case, longevity is great.
Matte 384: Dry / Wet
DS 473 is an aqua/turquoise with a shimmer finish. Also in this case: great pigmentation, easy application and excellent longevity.
DS 473 Dry / Wet
DS 480 is a medium blue with silver shimmer. It's well pigmented, it can be blended easily and has a fantastic longevity.
DS 480 Dry / Wet
In conclusione, questi ombretti mi son piaciuti moltissimo.
As a final note: I'm in love with those eyeshadows. They have a gorgeous pigmentation even if used dry and they are not powdery at all.
They are not low cost products, at least here in Italy, but they are a great value for money. I think I will buy more shades in the future, but not in a next future because I have really, really too many eyeshadows and I don't need to implement my huge collection.
That's all I have for you today, thanks for reading and have a nice evening!
